Inspired by Paul Solarz, a 5th grade teacher in Illiniois, Passion Time is individualized Project Based Learning. Students craft an essential question that is rooted in a passion or an interest they have. They document what they know at the outset of the project, what they want to learn, and how they will go about learning. Along the way they document what they learn. At the completion of the project they share their learning with some time of action, and document the questions they still have.
